Hematology and Medical Oncology Specialist Dr. Bishnu Rauth

Dr. Bishnu Rauth is an accomplished medical professional with a career in hematology and medical oncology spanning over four decades. He began his medical training in New Delhi, India, where he attended the All Institute School of Medical Science and earned his medical degree. After completing his residency in internal medicine at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, Dr. Bishnu Rauth furthered his specialization with a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Brown University.

Throughout his career, Dr. Rauth held prominent positions at various medical institutions. For over 15 years, he served as president of his own practice, providing patient care in internal medicine, hematology, and oncology. He then led the Carlsbad Cancer Center as president. During his time there, he played a key role in setting up the cancer center and running tumor boards.

Dr. Rauth then served as president of the Las Cruces Cancer Center and director of Texas Oncology. Finally, he served as president of the New Hope Cancer Center in Las Cruces until 2017. In these roles, he supervised nursing staff, managed infusion centers, and provided both inpatient and outpatient care.

A diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Rauth also holds board certifications in hematology and medical oncology. He is a member of several prestigious medical societies, including the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Internal Medicine.
